Summit County Forum, July 15, 2010
Thank you to all who attended the Summit County Forum!
The presentation was a huge success, thanks to the knewledgeable staff at Sourcing Office and its supply partners:
OfficeMax,
ComDoc,
First Energy Solutions,
Renivus, and
CPI-HR; Mayor Michael K. Lions of The Village of Richfield; Mr. Tom Pascarella of The City of Tallmadge; the generous donation of the meeting space by the
Akron Canton Regional Foodbank; and to the participation of the attendees.
We had a total attendence of 22, representing 19 different organizations. The presentation ran slightly longer than 1 hour, due to the many questions and considerable discussion of the participants, which are always welcome.
Here are some of the parting comments made by participants:
- Very well done
- More organized than the last meeting I attended a few years ago
- The event was well-ordered
- Came in expecting the usual poorly-organized presentation - this was well organized and useful!
And Jackie Steward, the Manager of Administration for
Summit County Alcohol, Drug Addiction and Mental Health Services Board even requested that we host a seminar at her organization in the future.
Since the event, we have signed up 4 of the organizations as members of Sourcing Office.
