It is Easy to Participate in Sourcing Office

The Sourcing Office Affiliate Agreement (click here, to download agreement) establishes the formal relationship between Sourcing Office and your respective entity, thereby enabling utilization of the contracts that are available to you. Furthermore, there are a few areas that we have highlighted below about which there are often questions from potential Affiliates:

• Exclusivity:

  By entering into the Sourcing Office Affiliate Agreement, your organization is not limiting its ability to enter into additional “group purchasing” opportunities. Affiliating with Sourcing Office simply provides your organization with the opportunity to utilize Sourcing Office procured programs when those programs make sense (financial, logistical, etc.) for your particular needs.

• Fees:

  There are no fees to be a Sourcing Office Affiliate. Sourcing Office receives a small administrative fee from our Supplier Partners based on the total spend through Sourcing Office’s contracts. This fee, built into the cost of each product, is handled by the Supplier; the price that you see is what you pay. Our model is such that we become aligned in the pursuit of savings. If our programs, inclusive of our fee, make financial sense for your organization Sourcing Office receives income. If our programs, inclusive of our fee, do not make financial sense we anticipate that Sourcing Office will receive no income.

• Authorization:

  We recommend that an individual with the authority to join consortia execute this agreement. Typically, Chief Financial Officers, Business Officers, and Procurement Directors have this authority, but we rely on each affiliate to determine who has the appropriate authority to join Sourcing Office.

• Access to Programs:

  Sourcing Office actively matches the programs that we procure with the Affiliates who will benefit from those programs. We will be in ongoing communication with you and your staff regarding our existing and newly launched programs to ensure that your organization is maximizing its full savings through Sourcing Office.
