About Us

Sourcing Office is a Council of Governments and 501 (c)(3) not-for-profit organization that creates and manages group purchasing programs for local governments, not-for-profits, and private sector entities. Sourcing Office procures and establishes contracts with winning suppliers in accordance with applicable government purchasing guidelines. As a result, virtually any local government in the country can piggyback on Sourcing Office’s contracts without having to conduct their own bid processes.

Sourcing Office’s best-in-class group purchasing programs deliver Participants improved pricing, additional value-added services, and enhanced terms and conditions. These programs save money and save time. They also provide a unique opportunity for local governments, not-for-profits, and private companies to collaborate and directly benefit by working together in a true public-private partnership that spans the nation.

In addition to sourcing contracts for products and services, Sourcing Office works with each Participant individually to determine which of our programs are best-suited for them through our unique matching process. And, most importantly, we work with Participants and suppliers on an ongoing basis to monitor performance and deliver the highest levels of customer service.
Most consortia simply procure contracts and turn suppliers loose on their members. At Sourcing Office, we are committed to sourcing, matching, and managing contracts from beginning to end, providing value and peace of mind to both our Participants and our supplier partners.
